Product Marketing Manager - Paints and Coatings

This role requires 5+ years of Marketing/Channel Development experience in the Architectural or Construction industry.

$100+ million manufacturer of specialty paint and coatings is offering an outstanding opportunity to a passionate Product Marketing Manager. You'll be responsible for all sales, product, and marketing programs to increase awareness of our products and value, and grow our distributor, contractor, and dealer channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay abreast of new trends and technologies in the industry -  make recommendations based on research and personal insights
  • Assess customer and market needs and design programs to influence their decision-making
  • Develop product, GTM, and pricing strategies to maximize market share and profitability
  • Align resources to assure that new programs are smoothly executed
  • Develop creative programs to raise awareness, influence customers, and establish a brand of quality and technical leadership
  • Develop and implement customer loyalty program(s)
  • Build and execute Annual Advisory Board meeting with premier partners
  • Manage Loyalty Program Administrator
  • Develop an effective Lead Generation program to attract new prospects and customers
  • Partner with Technical and Sales, providing technical marketing materials, competitive analyses, performance test results, and data-sheets
  • Design e-learning programs for field sales teams
  • Partner with Marketing on communication plans, promotions, social media strategy, and CRM
  • Collaborate with R&D to define features and benefits, competitive comparisons, target customers and marketing strategy
  • Gather customer feedback and utilize this to make data-driven decisions

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in Channel Marketing to Architectural and/or Construction industries
  • Successful track record of launching new products and Marketing Campaigns
  • Demonstrated full-lifecycle Project Management experience from concept to completion
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Knowledge of Social Media Platforms and how to effectively leverage them
  • Highly detail-oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skills
